On 3 and 4 December 2025 Goodyear (Thailand) held its annual staff seminar together with our mussel shell project, at the Sriracha Fisheries Research Station of the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University.

Dates
3 and 4 December 2025
Venue
Sriracha Fisheries Research Station, Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University
Host
Goodyear (Thailand)

The programme was a CSR (corporate social responsibility) workshop called "Sustainable Community Workshop". Goodyear staff learned to make small pots from mussel shell, pouring the mix into moulds and lifting out the finished pieces with their names on them.

The project takes green mussel shell left over from the seafood trade and turns it into new material. The workshop let the team follow that material from shell to a finished object.

The group ended the day together by the shore, holding the project banner. Our film of the day closes with the line "Together for Sustainable Communities, Goodyear Thailand".
